Charlotte Ann ConnelCharlotte Ann Connel, 69, passed away at her home in Mountain View, Oklahoma, Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was born on January 19, 1953 in Hobart, Oklahoma, to Harvie Gene and Oneta Fern (Pritchard) Geis. She attended and graduated from Mountain View High School in 19710 After graduating she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford and obtained an associates degree. She married Mike Connel in May of 1973. To this union two children were born, Aaron in 1976 in Oklahoma City and Michelle in 1988 in Chickasha.Charlotte worked at Kerr-McGee in the payroll department in Oklahoma City from 1973 before moving back to Mountain View in 1980. Charlotte became City Clerk for the City of Mountain View in July of 1985 until taking a position at the Farmer's Bank in Carnegie in September of 1986. She retired from the bank in 2018 after over 30 years of employment.Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play sports and other activities. She also enjoyed traveling around the United States and other countries. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View and taught a class at God's Gang.She is survived by one son, Aaron Connel and his wife, Anna of Florida; one daughter, Michelle Ensey of Mountain View, OK; one brother: Kevin Geis and his wife, Kelli of Mountain View, OK; Grandchildren: Alexys and Tyler Harmon, Audriana Connel, Niklas Whaler, Kyeler Frank, Blake Connel, Eryn Connel, Tatum Ensey, Tanner Ensey, Tuck Ensey; Great-grandchildren: Ainsley Harmon, Taelynn Harmon, Damon Connel, and Copelyn Harmon. She was preceded in death by her father Harvie in 2013 and her mother Oneta in 2019.Funeral services are Thursday, March 24, 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View with Danny Ringer officiating.Interment: Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, Oklahoma, under the direction of Fort Cobb Funeral Home, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.smithfuneralservicesecomVisitation will be at Fort Cobb Funeral Home only on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
