Geraldine NMI Green

Geraldine "Jerry" Green, 73 of Anadarko, Oklahoma was called home by the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 12:55 P. M. at her home with her family by her side, who she loved so very much. She was born July 6, 1937 at 6:43 A. M. to Bernard and Nadine (Mauldine) Hutchieson in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended school at Sickles. She was united in marriage to Furman (Chub) Green on May 16,1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas, from this union was born four children. She and Furman moved all over the United States while he was in the Military, but moved to Anadarko in 1968 where she has lived since that time. She had a day care in her home while her own children were small. She then worked at Wal Mart for a short time. She retired after 16 faithful years of hard work from Maremont in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She loved to quilt and had made each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren a quilt. She did ceramics and collected Fenton Glass Ware. She also collected Longaberger Baskets. She enjoyed camping with family and friends. Jerry's greatest love was for her family, whom she loved with all her heart. She loved jelly beans and enjoyed sharing them with family and friends. Jerry had a great since of humor and loved family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her father, Bernard Hutchieson, her husband, Furman Green and her mother, Nadine Paxton. She is survived by: two sons: Harold Green and wife, Nikki of Walters, OK Jeff Green and wife, Debbie of Anadarko, OK two daughters: Nina Green Williams and husband Steve of Clinton, OK Sally Green of Anadarko, OK 11 grandchildren: Jeremy McComas, Jeffrey Green, Patrick McComas, Crystal Segner, A. J. Remley, Jessica Price, Candice Luttrell, Kyle Williams, granddaughter and special care giver, Courtni Green, Shaylee Williams, Tufton Green. 12 great grandchildren 1 brother: Cullen Darnell and wife, Edith of Loveland, CO 4 sisters: Mary Ann Chambers and husband, Donnie of Weatherford, OK Olive Harvey and husband, Mark of El Reno, OK Luann White of Sulpher, OK Laura Lee Paxton of Fairland, OK Brother in law Jack Green and wife Aline of Anadarko ,Brother in law Scotty Green and wife Leeona of Ft. Cobb, special companion of 13 years, Bessie, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Services: 10:00 A. M. - Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Midway Baptist Church Officiating: Rev. Don Wright Bret Burns Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery- Anadarko, OK under the direction of Smith Funeral Home -Anadarko, OK
