Juan Jose Ibanez

Juan Jose "John" Ibanez, 63, passed away on Friday, October 24th, 2014 in Anadarko, OK. He was born on October 3, 1951 in Robstown, Texas to Victorina Tanguma and Adolfo Ibanez. He moved to this area in 1960 and attended and graduated from Gracemont High School. After graduation he joined the U.S. Marines and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. During his time in the Marines he served as a Military Policeman and a ShorepartyMan and after extensive training as an MP he was then promoted to Sergeant and was in charge of escorting prisoners. After he left the Marines he worked for Hollytex in Anadarko, OK. He loved spending time with his family, watching old movies, listening to old music, smoking cigarettes, writing poetry, nature, mowing and driving. He is survived by: His brother, Artemio "Tim" Moreno and wife, Maria, of Gracemont, OK Nephews: Daniel Moreno and his wife, Carla, of Anadarko, OK, Ruben Moreno and his wife, Kathleena of Anadarko, OK., Raul Moreno of Gracemont, OK, Florio V. Moreno of Dallas, TX, John D. Moreno and his wife Jeanie of Lake Elsworth, OK, Andrew Moreno of Anadarko, OK, Angel Reyes of Chickasha, OK, Larry Lanford, Jr. of Anadarko, OK, Tony Ibanez of Yukon, OK, Anthony Reyes and his companion, Susan Smith of Anadarko, OK., Oladio Moreno, Jr. of Laredo TX, Roberto Moreno of Larado, TX. Nieces: Maria Neal and her husband, Joe of Gracemont, OK, Erlinda Withers and her husband, Kelly, of Anadarko, OK, Sonya Palmer of Anadarko, OK, Vickey Leon and her husband, Ponce of Apache, OK, Connie Don Juan of Anadarko, OK Sister-in-Law: Mary Alice Moreno of Anadarko, OK Brother-in-Law: Israel Reyes, Sr. of Anadarko, OK Numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Victorina Tanguma and Adolfo Ibanez. Two brothers; Floria "Rusty" Moreno and Sam Moreno. Two sisters; Mary Reyes and Mary Ibanez. His nephews; Israel Reyes, Jr. and Mark A.
