Lorenzo Patrick Leemhuis

Lorenzo Patrick Leemhuis, 13, was called home by the Lord on Monday, May 2, 2011 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was born November 25, 1997 to Christopher Jerome Deere and Stephanie Marie (Leemhuis) Deere in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He had attended the Binger School and was in the seventh grade class at Anadarko Middle School He was a member of the Wichita Tribal Youth Program and Juvenile Service Bowling Team. He was a member of the Caddo Nation. He was a very mischievous young man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He had made a profession of his faith in Christ and attended Grace Fellowship Church and Bethel Baptist Church.. He wore a wrist band that says, "Support Our Troups" ever since his uncle, Sgt Thomas Leemhuis was killed in action while serving in the U. S. Army. He also wore a wrist band that says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10: 9 Lorenzo touched many lives in the thirteen years God allowed him to be here and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by; his father, Christopher Deere of OK City, OK his mother, Stephanie Leemhuis of Anadarko, OK his maternal grandmother, Patty Leemhuis his maternal great grandmother, Twila Leemhuis paternal grandfather, Paul Whitehorn Sr. and wife, Betty of Pell City, AL paternal grandmother, Victora Deere of OK City, OK one brother, David Leemhuis of the home four sisters, Tearza Leemhuis, and Malena Leemhuis of Pell City, AL and Lena Rose Deere and Liza Michelle Deere of OK City, OK numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Sherman Leemhuis Sr., one uncle, Thomas Leemhuis, two aunt's, Shavonne Leemhuis and Nicole Venegas, two great uncles, Stephen Leemhuis, and Melvin Jody Stevens a All night prayers service will be held a Indian Capital Baptist Church in Anadarko, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011 Service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday , May 6, 2011 at Grace Fellowship Church in Anadarko, OK Officiating: Rev. Marvin Delaware, Rev. Sonny Ware, Rev. Ted Mercer and Rev. Glenn Alley Burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery, south of Binger, OK under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK
