Lyman Lee Kionute

Lyman Lee Kionute, Sr. (Kah-Wah Chipto), passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the age of 87. He was born August 21, 1933, east of Binger, Oklahoma, to Jake & Ina Worcester Kionute. Mr. Kionute was of Caddo, Shawnee and Euchee descent. Mr. Kionute was a long time resident of the Lookeba and Binger areas.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Thelma Toho-Murrow Kionute, two sisters Roberta Kionute Compton and Catherine Kionute Wiles. Three sons Algernon Kionute, Sonny Maynahonah, and Luke Worcester. Four daughters Francis Kionute Klinekole, Beverly Worcester Toshavik, Carmen Worcester, and Norma Worcester. He is survived by one brother Merle Kionut, Pawnee, Oklahoma. Two sisters Edna Mae Kionut Varela, Carnegie, Oklahoma; LaDonna Kionut Daingkau, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. One nephew Paul Delaware, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Four sons, Thomas Worcester & Carla, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; Sherman Worcester & Myra , Anadarko, Oklahoma; Lyman Kionute, Jr., & Laverna, Wewoka, Oklahoma; Leonard Kionute & LaDonna, Binger, Oklahoma. Six daughters, Catherine (Tweet) Kionute, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Roberta Kionute, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Evelyn Kionute Tosee & Morgan, Lawton, Oklahoma; Mildred Kionute & Steward, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Dana Kionute & Dennis, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Billie Kionute, Lawrence, Kansas. One special relative Wendell Beaver. Grandsons Alfred Bert, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Nolan Bert, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Ryan Klinekole, Lawton, Oklahoma; Bruce Fish, Ada, Oklahoma; Micco Kionute, Ada, Oklahoma; Jared Kionute, Lawton, Oklahoma; Aaron Kionute, Tacoma, Washington (Army); Jeremy Beaver, Hinton, Oklahoma; Albert (AJ) Beaver, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Lyndon Kionute, Binger, Oklahoma; Logan Kionute, Binger, Oklahoma; James Kionute, Sasebo, Japan (Navy); and Jordan Kionute, Weatherford, Oklahoma. Granddaughters Randi Klinekole, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Barbara Klinekole, Newcastle, Oklahoma; Marilyn Fish, Wewoka, Oklahoma; Lauren Kionute, Wewoka, Oklahoma; Keri Kionute, Wewoka, Oklahoma; Sara Kionute, Wewoka, Oklahoma; Kylie Condulee, Holdenville, Oklahoma; Sallie Condulee, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Lori Kionute, Binger, Oklahoma; Silvina Kionute, Anadarko, Oklahoma; and Angel Kionute, Lawrence, Kansas.The family would like to thank the Binger Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility Staff, Russell-Murray Hospice Staff, Caddo Nation of Oklahoma, and the Delaware Nation of Western Oklahoma.All night wake service starting at 7pm Tuesday, October 20, 2020, and funeral at 1pm Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at First Caddo Baptist Church, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.
