Nancy Jo (Zornes) BlytheJune 4, 1950 -October 5. 2022It is with extreme sadness that the family of Nancy Jo Blythe announces her passing on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Nancy was born on June 4, 1950 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She was raised by her beloved grandparents Rebecca and Ed Wright. Nancy met her husband Roger Blythe in Anadarko, Oklahoma; they were married on October 19, 1965. Of this Union four children were born, Stephen, Aaron, Heather and Zachary.Nancy was an excellent cook, working in many different restaurants, but her favorite position was working in the cafeteria at Verden Public Schools, where she made several special friends she dearly loved. The students loved Mrs. Nancy, some even lovingly referring to her as "Ma". When Nancy got sick and had to retire the entire elementary school wrote her letters an drew pictures on many occasions. She adored looking through the stacks of heart felt treasures; she also looked forward to visits from family and friends. Nancy was a wonderful mother who was always there when they needed her. Her entire world revolved around her family, she loved an cherished them with her entire heart. She was a proud mother and doting grandmother. She gave herself freely to her family, always had time for a visit or phone call. She was very much loved and will be missed terribly. Nancy is proceeded in death by her grandparents who raised her, special Aunt and Uncle Pearl and David Wright and several cousins.Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roger. Son; Stephen Blythe and wife Erin, Son; Aaron Blythe and wife Amy. Daughter; Heather Keeton and husband Terry. Son; Zack Blythe and fiancee Sara King. Grandchildren: Stephen Blythe Jr., Briar and Hunter Blythe, Paige Couch and husband Josiah, Allie and Zane Blythe. Great-Grandsons: Waylon Couch and Jodcey Scott. Brother John Zornes and wife Sharlene. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and a circle of extended family longtime friends. Special thanks ar given to Dr. Houseman and the staff at Elara Home Health and Hospice, specifically her nurse Lisa Austin and Caregiver Nelda Meeks for the excellent care and comfort Nancy received during her final time here on this earth.Graveside Services: 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 10, 2020 Verden Cemetery, Verden, OklahomaOfficiating: Rev.
