Patsy Lee Gorman

Patsy Lee Gorman was born January 20, 1937 in Addington, Oklahoma to John Floyd and Dora Lee (Wyrick) Bacon. She was the youngest of ten children. She was called home by the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Chickasha, Oklahoma with her family by her side. Patsy grew up and attended school in Addington. She met the love of her life, Mack Gorman and they were married on November 15, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They lived in Wichita Falls for about 5 years and then moved throughout Oklahoma due to Mack's job. In the late 70's, they moved to Fort Cobb and made it they're home to raise their family. Patsy loved her family but her greatest joy was loving and telling about the Lord and her grandchildren. Everybody she came in contact with, she would talk to them about Jesus. She wanted to make sure that everybody knew him and she spent many hours in prayer. Patsy was a very caring, compassionate and loving lady. She acquired her CNA license and worked at the Anadarko and Chickasha Hospital for 10 years. She also worked at Coast to Coast in Anadarko and for many years she shared her love for people by fostering 30 plus children and sharing the news of Jesus with them. Everybody knew that they were loved when Patsy was around! She was a member of the Oney Baptist Church that she loved dearly. Patsy lived and dedicated her life to the Lord. She is in the arms of Jesus and the ones who have gone on before her.Left to cherish her memory are her children; Johnny & Gena Gorman of Fort Cobb, Larry Gorman of Lawton, Garry & Nikki Gorman of McKinney, Texas, Becki Homier of Fort Cobb; grandchildren: Candi Williams, Chris Post, Jeremy Gorman, Kody Gorman, Kaleb Gorman, Peyton Gorman, Karsyn Gorman and Hannah Gorman; great grandchildren: Brooke Williams, Hope Perez, Ashlyn Post, Robby Dailey, Taylor Post, Shelbi Gorman, Lilly Dailey and Nathaniel Gorman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Patsy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mack; son, Donny Gorman; 6 sisters and 3 brothers.Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Oney Baptist Church in Oney, Oklahoma. Rev. Todd Pack will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Cobb.
