Patsy Ruth Morris

Patsy Ruth (Marrow) Morris was born on January 15, 1949, to Hugh Lee Marrow and Virgie (Dorsey) Marrow. She passed from this life on May 2, 2024, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, at the age of 75. Patsy was born and raised in the Anadarko area for most of her life. She enjoyed attending the Anadarko First Assembly of God. Patsy loved her dog “Sooner”. She was proud of all nine of her children, and loved all of her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved watching westerns and loved the OKC Thunder. She was also a huge OU Sooner fan. She enjoyed taking trips; she was always on the go. When Patsy first started out in life, she was a young mother so she went out and got a waitress job at Porter Hill. After waiting tables, she then moved up the ladder and got a job at Hollytex for several years. She then got her Commercial Drivers License and drove a truck until retirement. After a few years of retirement, she was bored and went and got a job driving at the Railroad Company. When that job ended Patsy went to work for McDonalds cleaning the lobby. She found she really enjoyed that job and all the people she got to meet. Patsy was stubborn and set in her ways but she was loved very dearly. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby Jr. and Anna Dunlap of Rattan, Oklahoma, Tony and Kim Dunlap of Cloudy, Oklahoma, Michael and Sharla Bare from Pocasset, Oklahoma, Coleen and David Caldwell of Binger, Oklahoma, Sheila and Rodney Morrison of Priceville, Alabama, Regina Stephens Bare of Orlando, Florida, Darren and Hannah Bare of Albion, Iowa, and Steven and Melanie Bare of Anadarko, Oklahoma, half-brothers, James Marrow of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Johnny Marrow of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Herschel Marrow of Chickasha, Oklahoma, half-sisters, Ruby Marrow-Dixon of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Kathy Marrow of Chickasha, Oklahoma, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Virgie Marrow, brothers Kenneth Marrow and Freddy Marrow, sister, Paula Zamora, daughter, Anita Bare-Kionute, and grandson, Stevie Ray Kionute A memorial service is set to begin at 2:00 PM, on May 17, 2024, at the First Assembly of God Church located at 216 W. Alabama in Anadarko. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
