Sarah Sue Boswell-Boen

Sarah Sue Boswell was born July 19 to Mr. and Mrs. Burl and Billie Surber and passed from this life on August 29, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pressley Boen, of the home; her parents; great grandson, Jordan Boswell; son, Dwain Presley Boswell; her beloved granddaughter, Gina Lee Boswell, and grandson, Nick Rogers; and numerous family and friends. She leaves to mourn her passing, son, Warren Lee, grandson, Lane Brown and his daughter, Rylee; granddaughter, Danielle and husband, Rey Shemayme, and their sons, Rey Jr., and Little Lee; granddaughter, Jodi Rae Boswell and companion, Cole Nation, and their children, Wylie Dwain and Preslee; granddaughters, Marla Belt and Bailey Scott and grandson, Levi Wall and his companion, Rachel, and their children, Carly and Neilya; grandsons, Otis and Jessie Spray; sister, Burl Dean Sidebottom and husband, Bill; and baby sister, Sharon Shoemake and husband, Gary and great nephew, Preston, and several nieces, nephews, and her loveable dog, Max. She had lots of adopted grandchildren. She was Grandma Sue to many, many children, too numerous to mention. Sue was a Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer for 40 years. She was the first women to be Anadarko Chamber of Commerce President. She was also elected "Women of the Year". She was past President of Anadarko Rotary Club and named in 2015 as outstanding Rotary Club recipient. She loved her work and was proud to be part of Anadarko. She was greatly interested in Anadarko athletics and Sunday School class had a very special meaning in her life. Sue loved spending time with all of her wonderful family and friends. She loved working and caring for her horses and dogs. She loved working on the farm with her daddy. Sue had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others and took pride in her business. Sue loved everyone! The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, love, and support that everyone has shown. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Anadarko. Pastor Donnie Edmondson will officiate. The burial service will be followed at the Memory Lane Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. .Dinner will be served after the services at the First Baptist Church.
