Obituary for Sandra D Bellamy

Sandra Dianne Gray Bellamy was born April 8, 1941 to Jesse and Georgia Dunn Gray in Sayre, OK. She graduated Co-Salutatorian from Fort Cobb High School in 1959, married Larry Bellamy June 4, 1960 at Fort Cobb, OK. They had three children, John Michael, Jesse, and Judy.

She was a member of the Fort Cobb Church of Christ.

Sandra started her career as a switchboard operator for Sequoyah Carpet Mill and over the next 35 years advanced to various positions within Sequoyah & Hollytex including Manger of the samples department, Distribution Center Manager and Director of Human Resources. She finished her career working in human resources for Western Farmers.

She is survived by husband Larry of the home, son Mick and LaDonna Bellamy of Fort Cobb, son Jesse and Karen of Fort Cobb, and daughter Judy Bellamy of OKC.

Grandchildren: Meghan and Stuart Roper, Edmond, OK,
Jenny and Scott Williams, Edmond, OK, Sarah and Matt Goodson, Cashion, OK, Adam and Hanna Bellamy, Stillwater, OK, and Brett and Katie Bellamy, Cave Springs, AR,

Great-grandchildren: Jordan, Mackey, Gibson, Sutton and Malone Roper; Kenna, Mason, and Mila Williams; Gatlin, Cru, Keller, and Kody Goodson, Henry Bellamy, and Brooks Bellamy.

Her kids: Georgia Ballou and Lily, Amarillo, TX; Gracie Ballou, Lubbock, TX; Joe Ballou, San Marcos, TX; Gavin Ballou and Charlotte Ballou of Houston, TX.

Gary and Sudawan Gray, Houston, TX; Pat and Chuck Hardesty, Bridge Creek, OK; Mike Bellamy, Fort Cobb, OK; Lynn and Rhonda Bellamy, Anadarko, OK.

Her Aunt Glenna Hartman of Sayre, OK and numerous cousins/nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Georgia Gray; her brother, Phil Gray; in-laws, John and Bee Bellamy; and Great-granddaughter, Blake Bee Williams; and sister-in-law, Elaine Bellamy.

Pallbearers will be Adam Bellamy, Brett Bellamy, Stuart Roper, Matt Goodson, Scott Williams
Wesley Bellamy, Joseph Ballou, Gavin Ballou.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Brownback, Don Tyson, Tim Smith, Jack Tillery, Bob Dyer,
David Huddleston, Dennis Klugh, Dale Cooper, Melvin Crowell.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Fort Cobb Broxton High School Gymnasium in Fort Cobb. Bro. Billy Clabaugh will officiate. Burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Cobb. Services are under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday, July 30 & 31 from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, July 31 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
