Carolyn May Frazier

Carolyn May Frazier, 78, passed away on Sunday, August 9th, 2020 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City after a brief illness. She was born on April 10, 1942, under the water tower in Mountain View, OK to Loyd and Donie (Kelsoe) Stubbs. She was the middle of the five children in her family and was the only girl. Carolyn grew up in Mountain View and attended Mountain View Schools. She married her first love, Jesse Frazier, on June 19, 1958 in Carnegie, OK. Their family grew with the births of sons Jerry on November 4, 1959 and Terry on June 27, 1961. In the early 1960's they moved to California and lived in the Fresno and Salinas areas. They returned to live in Carnegie in 1971. Carolyn began working at 3M in Weatherford in 1979 and continued to work there after it was purchased by Ferrania. She retired, after 30 years, in 2009. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the Mountain View Fair, playing Bingo and going to the casinos. She loved her pet dogs and cats. She enjoyed going on trips with her family and friends and had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready for a good laugh. Carolyn loved life, family and friends and they loved her as well. She is survived by:2 sons; Jerry and Pam Frazier, Weatherford, OK Terry Frazier, Carnegie, OK1 brother: Alfred "Hooty" Stubbs, Mtn. View, OKGrandchildren: Jeremy and Molly Frazier of Mustang, OK; Joni and Michael Chester of Elk City, OK; Patty Dunkerley of Wichita Falls, TX. Great-Grandchildren: London Frazier, Hunter, Noah and Sayde Chester and Riley Dunkerley2 sisters-in-law that were more like sisters to her: Shirley Stubbs and Carolyn Stubbs, both of Mtn. View, OKNumerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Loyd and Donie Stubbs, her husband, Jesse Frazier, and grandson Justin Frazier and 3 brothers; Bill Stubbs, Loyd Stubbs and G.W.
