Donna L O'Neal

Donna "Sue" L. O'Neal, 76, of Gracemont, Oklahoma, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, November, 22, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Sue was born October 13, 1939 in rural Anadarko to Finis Jerome and Avis Voleta (Taylor) Milam. She married Gordon Goucher in 1958 and to this union was born 5 children. She was a homemaker the majority of her married life. She did work as a waitress for several years, a bank teller for 5 years, where she finally retired. Sue married the love of her life, Carl Dean O'Neal on February 25, 1983. Sue enjoyed dancing, lawn work, going to grandkids and great grandkids ballgames and other activities, quilting, and sewing. She made her daughter and daughter-in-laws wedding dresses and altered several granddaughters prom dresses all the way to the past few months doing a little each day that her health would allow, cherishing every moment to make them happy. That was how Sue was made. Even throughout her sickness, she was still able to work on and even complete her final project, hand quilting a quilt for her sister. Sue was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gracemont, Cadet Girl Scout Leader for 1 1/2 years, and Cogar OHEC for 2 years (Home Extension). Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Carl of the home; children: Phyllis Williams and husband, Robert of Gracemont, Deborah Birch and husband, Leldon of Gracemont, Mechele Perry and husband, Gary of Anadarko, Chuck Goucher of Lindsay, Traci Britt and husband, James of Anadarko, Gary O'Neal and wife Karen of Duncan, Pam Gonzalez and husband, Carlos of McKinney, Texas and Carla Allen and husband, John of Pampa, Texas; grandchildren: Travis Goucher and wife, Timberly, Lance Goucher and wife, Michelle of Gracemont, Josh Goucher and wife Jayme of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Jody Birch and wife, Jenna, Donita Settle and husband, Jesse of Gracemont, Oklahoma, Dustin Perry of Norman, Amanda Pulis and husband, Matt of Newcastle, Dalton Goucher of Maysville, Nicholas, Alex and Savannah Goucher of Lindsay, Shane' and Dane' Bedford of Anadarko, Shanan Johnson and husband, Gary of Fort Worth, Texas, Stacie Crowson and husband, Tadd of Comanche, Allison Eddy and husband, Darren of Inola, Heidi Mullins and husband, Jimmy of Yuma, Arizona, Timothy Phillips and wife, Ashley of Manor, Texas, Cullen Allen and wife, Laura of Pampa, Texas, Brad Allen and wife, Allison of Dallas, Texas, Dewayne Birch, Robert "Winky" Birch and Danny Birch all of Gracemont, James David Britt of Verden, Tiffany Demonico and husband, Rich of Edmond, Seth Britt of Oklahoma City, Halee German and husband, Caleb of Anadarko, Chelsea Britt of Anadarko and Abby Trabert of Chickasha; 47 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, brothers: Ben Milam, Sam Milam, Clint Milam, and Rod Milam; sisters: Wanda Randle, Verla Parker, Joyce Hobgood, and host of other relatives and friends. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Doc Milam, granddaughters, Sabrina Birch and Christy Birch and a great grandson, Nathan Bedford. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Anadarko with Bro. Lynn Bellamy, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.smithfuneralservices.com
