Dora Juanita Bergdorf

Juanita Bergdorf, 88, departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Weatherford, Oklahoma. She was born on October 11, 1922 in rural Apache, OK, to William and Mary Dorah (Craig) Bartosovsky. She attended the Broxton school District for 12 years and graduated in the spring of 1940. In 1941 she married Orrell C. Bergdorf and made their home south of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma where they resided and successfully devoted their lives to a "Farming and Livestock Operation for the past 65 years. Juanita was an active member in the United Methodist Church of Fort Cobb, where she served on committees, choir, Sunday School and Missions. Another love of her life was being a member of the South Pioneer Extension Homemakers Club.. She continuously competed and judged at the Caddo County Fairs, also, entering her own sewing, crocheting, quilting, canning and floral exhibits for her home Extension Club, that awarded her with many prizes and ribbons over the past years. A green thumb was visible in her vegetable garden and the beautiful flower garden she grew every year. She enjoyed life and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death are her parents, William and Dorah Bartosovsky, three brothers, Paul, Dale and William, four sisters, Corinne Erman, Lois Young, Lola Marie Bartosovsky and Anna Muse. She is survived by her husband, Orrell, two children and spouses, Harvey and Kila Bergdorf of Claremore, OK, Barbara and Stan Baxter of Weatherford, OK., six grandchildren, Carter Bergdorf of Rogers, ARK, Jason and Shane Bergdorf of Claremore, OK, Brett and Dana Gage of North Richland Hills, TX, Robbie and Brooke Gage of Tulsa, OK, and Andy and Lauren Gage of Denver, CO. Three step-grandchildren; Deidre and Kory Scott, and Bryan Baxter,eight great-grandchildren; Cydney Bergdorf, Tajia Bergdorf, Riley Gage, Connor Gage, Grant Gage, Katie Gage, Annalea and Bowen Gage, two great great grandchildren, J.J. Vera and Dylan Cummings,Four step-great grandchildren; Tayler Randol, Kyler Cummings, Kyle and Kamden Scott. She is also survived by two brothers, Bobby and Billy Bartosovsky, three sisters; Addie Hawkins, Alice Bradley, Norma Bickford and a host of other relatives and friends. Our hearts are sad, but thankful for the years God allowed her presence in our lives. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Services will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Cobb, OK Officiating: Rev. Tim Trujillo and Rev. Lynn Brack Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Cobb, OK under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home, Fort Cobb, OK
