Dorothy Marie Johnson

Dorothy Marie Johnson, 79, life time resident of Caddo County, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born December 4,1930 to Tom and Ella (Dove) Paige in Gracemont, Oklahoma. She met and married the love of her life, Robert Johnson on October 30, 1957 in Anadarko, Oklahoma from this union was born six wonderful children. Dorothy loved the Lord and her life reflected her Christian walk with Jesus. She enjoyed gospel singing, going to Church and helping with funeral dinners. She had a hand in raising several of her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She especially enjoyed helping them with homework, cooking for them and watching them play baseball. Dorothy was a prayer warrior for the Lord. She was an active member of the Binger Church of God and a former member of St. Paul Baptist Church and Christ Holy Sanctified Church. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by; Six children: Hallie Que Spencer and husband, Embry, Birdie Johnson and Robert Johnson Jr and Doris all of Binger, OK Sandra Johnson and Charles of Norman, OK Richard Johnson and Shelly of Binger, OK Brenda Johnson of Hennessey, OK Grandchildren: Erika and Robert Clay, Tevin Johnson, Kalen, Chrissa, Shawnta Johnson, Dietra, Daisha, Chavon & Shayla Reese, Delinda & Kevin Bowen, Keenan Scott, Tasha Johnson, Charlene, Deborah, & Rodney Spencer, Michael Johnson & Alice Sires, Briana & Kenzi. Great grandchildren: Sherlita & Ray Braux, Marcus, Sherise & Kaneesha Bowens, Stormee, Deaja, Katera & Destini Spencer, Kaedra & Nathan Clay Two great great grandchildren, Jaylee & Marissa Bowens Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Robert Johnson Sr.; one son M.L Johnson; one grandson, Michael Spencer; sisters: Bernice Murray, Johnnie Paige, Mattie Paige, Eddie Lee Williams, Mary Willis, Bertha and two nieces she considered to be sisters: Set Moore & Verlene Crawford; two brothers, John Thomas Paige and Paul Leonard Paige.
