George Toho-Murrow

George Toho-Murrow, Jr., 75 passed away on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on March 4, 1941 in Binger, OK to George and Christine (Shemayme) Toho-Murrow, Sr. George was a life long resident of Binger until recently when he moved to Anadarko. George was of Caddo and Delaware descent and was an enrolled member of the Delaware Nation of Western Oklahoma. He liked to be outdoors and go on walks, visit with friends and family and attend family functions. He would help with his late mother, driving and taking care of the home. He was an avid OU fan, Boomer Sooner! He is survived by: one brother, Kemit Toho-Murrow of Phoenix, Arizona. Nephews: Donovan Murrow of Oklahoma City, OK; Melford Murrow, Jr. of Anadarko, OK; Michael Beaver of Oklahoma City, OK; Lyman Kionute, Jr., of Wewoka, OK; Leonard Kionute of Binger, OK., Ivan Phllips of Purcell, OK; Ronnie Phillips of Van Buren, AR; Jimmy May of Edmond, OK; Clifford Peacock of Durant, OK. Nieces; Deborah Beaver of Oklahoma City, OK; Kim Murrow-Vasquez of Tucson, AZ; Evelyn Kionute of Lawton, OK; Mildred Beaver of Anadarko, OK; Dana Kionute of Binger, OK; Billie Kionute of Weatherford, OK., Barbara Phillips of Hobart, OK, Connie Melton of McCloud, OK, Janice Maddox of Moore, OK. Special friends; Tosha Varnum, Bobby Keechi and Gary Crain. Numerous grandchildren, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; George and Christine (Shemayme) Toho-Murrow, Sr. , three brothers; Herman Toho-Murrow, MeridethToho-Murrow and Melford Toho-Murrow, Sr.; three sisters; Thelma Toho-Murrow Kionute, Rose Toho-Murrow and Nelcine Toho-Murrow Beaver; three nephews; Terry Beaver, Dennis Beaver and Kenan Murrow. His special friend, Lewis Adams.
