Jonathan Chrisman Coffenberry

Jonathan Chrisman Coffenberry, 26 of Gracemont, departed this life, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 south of Binger, Oklahoma. He was born Feb 16, 1986 to Lonnie Wayne and Judith Lynn (Runzel) Coffenberry in Lawton, Oklahoma. He attended school in Crawfordville, Indiana and Carnegie High School. He was united in marriage to Whitney Hixon on January 6, 2006 and to this union was born two children. Jonathan joined the U.S. Army to serve his country, which he took great pride in, and received his GED while in the service. His greatest love was for his children, his fiance', Misty, ex wife, Whitney & two best friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving the tractor, playing pool and had his very own cue sticks, fishing and just being in the outdoors. Jonathan was a very private young man but a very loving & caring man. When he needed a change in life, a very special couple gave him the opportunity to prove himself. That couple was Homer & Dee Meeks, whom he loved dearly. He has worked at Braums Dairy in Tuttle and enjoyed his job as well as his boss and co workers. Jonathan was a member of the Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his Fiance' and best friend, Misty Morrow of Gracemont; son, Drake Allen Coffenberry of Apache; daughter, Chloe Anne Coffenberry of Apache; ex-wife and mother of his children, Whitney Coffenberry of Apache and her fiance', Phil Dixon of Lawton; mother, Lynn Hewes & husband, Jerry of Apache; two brothers: Brandon & Scotty Runzel of Lawton; soon to be father & mother-in-law and special friends, Melvin & Sherry Morrow of Gracemont; paternal grandparents, Racheal & Jack "Pepaw" Gardner; maternal grandparents, Eileen & Pat Gibson of Horn Lake, Mississippi; very special friends, Homer & Dee Meeks of Binger; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many many friends. Jonathan is preceded in death by his paternal Grandma Vaughn; maternal grandfather, Skip Runzel, father-in-law Jimmy Hixon and one aunt, Jana Ellis. Memorial Service was 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Apache, Oklahoma, officiating, Rev. Bobby Scott.
