Mary Louise French

Mary Louise "Toots" French, 69 of Gracemont Oklahoma, was called home by the Lord on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 at OU Medical Center in Edmond, OK. She was born October 26, 1942 to Louis Edmonds and Lucille Wilson in Binger, OK. She received her GED from Binger High School and attended U S A O in Chickasha for a short time. She was on a soft ball team until she turned forty and had to retire after a knee injury and was endued into the Soft Bal Hall of Fame. She worked for W. C. D. and C H R. Program for several years. She retired in 2006 after working twenty six years for the BIA.. She worked for the Delaware Tribe from 2006 until 2010. She enjoyed taking kids on roller coaster hill. She enjoyed going to church, traveling and spreading the word of God and doing the Lord's work. Her greatest love was for her family. She especially enjoyed all the time she spend with her grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed watching them play ball and going to al their activities. She had adopted kids all over the United States. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by; two sons, Darrell "Bo" Wetselline of Anadarko, OK and Chris French and companion, Carrie Rhatigan of OK City, OK one daughter, Lisa Wetselline of Binger, OK , an adopted daughter, Lou Geimausaddle, five grandchildren, Jordan Cisco, Niche' Shay Wetselline, Aaron Yeapau, Shannon Wetselline, Darrell Wetselline Jr., Aimee Wetselline and twenty five other three special grandchildren, Walace andTravia Wetselline and Marie Jefferson, great grandchildren include, Trenton Wetsellline, Tia Tillis, Jade Cisco, Tracey Wetselline , other adopted daughters include, Flory Haumpo, Nicki Tartsah, Robin Minegun, Tasha, Naomi and Felicia and Nomee . one brother, Joe Edmonds and companion, Jerri Bunchie of Anadarko, OK, and two sisters, Rose Wetselline and Freda Herring both of Binger, OK She is preceded in death by, her parents, Louis and Lucille Edmonds, an infant sister, Janell Edmonds and sister, Midge Swift, a son, James Edward French, a brother, Dennis Edmonds, and niece, Angela Edmonds, a nephew, Virgil Swift Jr. and a special daughter in law, Doris Archilta. A prayer service will be held 7:00 P. M. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Smith Chapel, Rev. Milton Otis and Rev. Billy Harris officiating, Celebration of Life, 10:00 A.M.. Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Smith Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK
