Rheda June Butler

Rheda June Butler, 78, passed away on Friday, January 27th, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at her daughters home in Mangum, Oklahoma. She was born on March 16, 1938 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Lewis Christian and Annie Mae (Davis) Pendleton. She married Clifford "Bud" Butler on January 7, 1957 in Ada, Oklahoma. She worked many years at Robertson Curtain Factory in Cordell, Oklahoma. She knew how to operate all of the machinery there, but spent most of her time on the Pleat Tronic machine. She lived most of her life in Cordell and was very active in supporting the school activities of her children. She loved Jesus more than anything, along with reading her Bible. She was a member of the New Beginning Assembly of God Church in Cordell. She and Bud were very active in church and they would cook for the church every Wednesday night until her health prevented them from doing that service. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, especially crocheting and playing in numerous heated games of Chicken Foot at Grandma Jewel's house.
