Robin Gayle Gomez

Robin Gayle Gomez made her journey to her heavenly home on August 14, 2022. She was born on November 15, 1983, to Dale Gomez and Herbette Vasquez, they raised her in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She graduated from Anadarko High School in 2002 and was an enrolled member of the Comanche Nation.Robin enjoyed sports, especially softball. She discovered that she had a natural talent at a young age by unknowingly catching a ball while on the little league softball team. She continued to play during her years in Anadarko Public Schools. She tried other sports including track and basketball; however, she often stated that she didn't care to run that much. One of her fond memories was made during her senior year when she helped teach the elementary students. The students in return formed a friendship with her and presented her with a 'Thank You' card signed by all of them. Robin kept the card among her treasures and cherished the memories.Robin didn't know an enemy, she greeted everyone with a smile and her humor made others smile around her. She often described herself as feisty but those who knew her best would say that she had the biggest heart and was kind. It was her kindness and care for people that lead her into becoming a nurse. Robin served as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for around a decade.Robin's greatest love and pride and joy is her three children: Bethany, Taylor, and Caylob. She passed down her love of softball to her oldest child, Bethany, and taught her everything she knew about the game. She also passed down her love of beadwork to her daughter Taylor. Robin developed the love to beadwork from her mother, who got it from her grandfather, Vernon. Caylob's interest is in Pokemon like his mother. One of her favorite hobbies was playing Pokemon go.Robin was also an adamant pool player and part of league. She competed in Vegas twice and made many friends along the way. Her closets friends are Amy Cortez, Kaylita Perez, and Candace Brea Milton. Robin also shared a special bond with her sister Jennifer and was labeled as the favorite niece by her Uncle, Ernie Redbird III.Robin is precedent in death by her maternal grandparents: Vernon and Rosela Parton; paternal grandparents: Jake and Virgina Gomez.She is survived by her parents: Herbette Vasquez and Dale Gomez; siblings: Nathan Gomez and Jennifer Vasquez. Children: Bethany Daingkau, Taylor Satepeahtaw, and Caylob Satepeahtaw. Her Auntie Mama: Tracey Eaglelodge.Wake service will Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko beginning at 6:00-8:00 pm.Funeral Service will be at the First Baptist Church of Anadarko, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 18, 2022, beginning at 11:00 am.
