Ronald Paul Boynton Funeral services for Ronald Paul Boynton, 65, of Anadarko will be held at Botone Memorial United Methodist church at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30th. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29th at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. He was born on may 6, 1945 in Carnegie to Libby and Albert Long Boynton and passed away on Monday December 27th, 2010 , in Anadarko. He attended Anadarko public schools. He entered the United States Army at the age of 17. Ronald was a member of the 101st Airborne Division where he held the rank of PFC. He was a heavy equipment operator. He was a life long resident the Anadarko community. He married the former Dorothy Beartrack on October 11, 1962, in Lawton. He was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma, an avid OU football fan and loved spending time with his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Charles Ray Boynton, a brother Charles Burke Boynton; a sister Pamela Jan Edge; maternal grandparents: Matthew and Hazel Lonewolf Botone; his paternal grandparents Elizabeth Barcindebar and Paul Boynton. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Boynton, of the home; one son Donald and his wife Heather of Anadarko; tow daughters: Rhonda Craddock and husband Jeffrey of Coleman, OK.: Susan Ferguson and husband EJ of Woodward OK.; Ten grandchildren; Leah Derichsweiler of Coleman Ok., Justin Craddock of Montgomery, TX., Joseph Gragg Jr., Latosha Gragg, Shannin Gragg, Skylar Gragg, Kiley Rock, Caleb Rock, Rhianna Boynton and Donoven Boynton all of Anadarko. One great grandson Damien Boynton of Ft. Cobb, Ok. Two brothers James Albert Boynton and wife Walsie of Anadarko, Kenneth "Blue" Boynton of Ft. Cobb, Ok., one sister Penny Sparkman and husband Steve "BB" of Anadarko; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Pallbearers will be Joseph Gragg Jr., Justin Craddock, Kenneth Boynton Jr. Riche Asenap Jr., Wrandall Beartrack, Wraymond Beartrack, Galen Holder and Clint Punley. Burial with military honors will be held at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko.
