Thelma Corinne Erman

Corinne Erman, 94, departed this life to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in Frisco, Texas. She was born on March 27, 1916 in rural Apache, Oklahoma, to William and Nancy Pearl Bartosovsky. She attended the Broxton School District for 12 years, graduating in the spring of 1934. On March 19, 1938 she was united in marriage to Paul Cecil Erman, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She loved music and all sports, especially basketball and baseball. She was a wonderful pianist, and active member of the Alden Community Church and First United Methodist Church of Anadarko. Paul and she farmed in the Alden District for many years before retirement. She was very active in the Alden-Carnegie communities. She also belonged to Carnegie and South Pioneer Homemakers Extension Club. Corinne spent the last 3 years in Frisco, TX where she could be closer to her son and his family. She especially enjoyed the birthdays she shared with her great-grandson, Keaton She played the piano at the assisted living center where she resided and many of the other residents would dance. She also was quite good at bingo. Although she ended her life in Texas, she always thought of Oklahoma as her home. She loved her Sooners. Preceding her in death is her husband, Paul C. Erman: one daughter, Baby Girl Erman. Her parents, William and Nance Pearl Bartosovsky; Step-mother, Mary Dorah Bartosovsky; three brothers, Paul, Dale and William Bartosovsky, three sisters, Lois Young, Lola Marie Bartosovsky and Anna Muse. She is survived by her son and wife, Terry Paul and Sharon Lynne Erman. One granddaughter, Melissa Labor; one great grandson, Keaton Labor and one great granddaughter, Marin Labor, all of Frisco, Texas. She also is survived by two brothers, Bobby and Billy Bartosovsky; four sisters, Juanita Bergdorf, Addie Hawkins, Alice Bradley and Norma Bickford and a host of other relatives and friends. Our hearts are sad, but thankful for the years God allowed her presence in our lives. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Services will be held at 10:00 A. M. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma, Officiating: Rev.
